From The Ashes Of Madness

Set in the pristine but sometimes hostile wilderness of central Idaho, the unique voice of James Dawson brings to life a marvel of modern romance, perseverance, faith, and self-discovery. From the mountains of Idaho to the hill country of Texas and back, the author weaves a trail of mystery and adventure so vivid one can’t help but get lost in the story. Cliffhangers abound in this haunting paranormal mystery. The characters are so real you can hear  them. From the very first sentence the author takes the reader on a remarkable journey through one man’s struggle to survive in the rugged Idaho backwoods after an airplane crash; invites you to live with his family as they test their faith and deal with his apparent disappearance; and introduces you to the diverse friends he finds along the way.  In the spirit of a Louis La’mour western, with an insight into the human psyche reminiscent of Dean Koontz, James Dawson offers the reader a well-written literary road trip you will travel again and again.

AWESOME! I laughed, cried and even got mad though out the adventures in this story. But in the end…well, I won’t tell you that either. You won’t regret it. Can’t wait for the next one.

    James,
I have read your book 3 times and each time it gets to me. I promise myself I will not cry at certain spots, but to no avail. The tears come anyway.
The book is well written and I hope you don’t stop with just the one. It should make a real good family movie. Anyone who does not buy the movie rights to Ashes of Madness has lost a chance for an Oscar nomination.
    Keep them good books coming.
